If you run a sports and facilities business, your customers pick a court (or space) and a time on your booking page. This page covers the options that make that faster for customers.
All of these live in More > Setup > Online bookings.
Choose a layout
Under Booking flow layout, pick how customers choose a time. Try each in the live preview.
- Timetable shows courts and times as a grid.
- Compact timetable is a smaller grid of small cells with tooltips. It's good when you have many courts and want customers to see availability at a glance.
Let customers book several courts and times
Under Page features, turn on Let customers book multiple courts and times.
With it on, customers can pick several courts, and several times on the same court, in one booking on the same day. With it off, a booking is one run of times on one court.
When it's on, you can also set Most separate bookings at once. Each court, and each separate run of times on it, counts as one. Customers can't add more than this to a booking.
Customers receive one confirmation email listing everything they booked. For the How the Monthly Booking Limit Works, a booking like this counts once.
Hold times while customers check out
Under Booking time limit, the times a customer picks are held for them while they fill in their details, and they see a countdown. If they don't finish in time, the times are let go for other customers. When it's off, nothing is held and the first customer to confirm gets the time.
- Time to finish a booking: how long a customer has. Allow time to sign in and fill in their details. 7 minutes suits most businesses.
- Held times, as other customers see them: choose how a held time shows to everyone else.
Block out time
Courts can be blocked out for maintenance, lessons or events, with a label customers can see. Customers can't book blocked time.
Take payment online
Customers can pay the full price when they book if you connect Stripe and each court has a price per hour. See Take Online Payments with Stripe.
