These settings decide which times customers are offered on your booking page. They sit in More > Setup > Online bookings, in the box that controls when bookings can be made.
Remember that the times offered also depend on your location's opening hours and your staff's working hours. See Set Your Location's Opening Hours.
Minimum notice
Customers cannot make bookings within sets how much notice you need. For example, choosing a number of hours stops customers booking a slot that starts sooner than that. The first option needs no notice at all, so customers can book any slot that hasn't started yet.
How far ahead customers can book
Customers can make bookings up to limits how far into the future they can book. Choose a number and a unit of time, for example some weeks or months ahead.
Time block interval (services)
Time block interval is how often start times are offered. A smaller interval shows more start times, and a larger one shows fewer, more evenly spaced times. It applies to services businesses.
How time slots are filled (services)
Under the slot options, choose how slots are presented:
- Normal time slots: every available slot at your interval. This can leave gaps in your day.
- Reduce gaps (recommended): offers a good number of slots while avoiding gaps that are hard to fill.
- Eliminate gaps: only offers times straight before and after existing bookings and at the start and end of the day. This keeps your day tight but can reduce what customers can choose from.
Sports and facilities
Facilities businesses can also limit how long a customer has to finish a booking, while their chosen times are held.
