Meeting settings belong to each online location. Connect a provider first, see Connect a meeting provider.
Switch it on for a location
To change a location:
- Open Settings > Locations and edit your online location.
- Turn the meeting integration on or off, or pick a different one.
- Optionally tick Email a reminder of the link for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours before the appointment.
The meeting is created as soon as the booking is made. A reminder isn't sent if the booking was made after that time, and if a booking is moved its reminders start again. The booking in your calendar shows when the customer will be reminded.
Google Meet and Microsoft Teams email the customer their own calendar invitation with the link, so Bookingly doesn't send a second email. Zoom doesn't send an email of its own, so Bookingly emails the customer the link when the meeting is created.
A location can use one meeting integration at a time. Switching one on switches the others off.
Recurring bookings
A recurring booking only has one meeting at a time, for its next appointment. This stops the customer being sent a link for every date in the series at once. When the next appointment's turn comes, its meeting is created and the customer is sent the link.
Choose when that happens in the location's For recurring bookings, create the meeting setting:

The booking in your calendar shows when its link will be created, for example "on Tue 3 Nov at 1:45 PM (24 hours before the appointment)". Each appointment in a recurring booking has its own link. To send a link earlier, open the appointment and select Create link now. When you add a recurring booking, the Online meeting section explains the same timing before you save.
The link is never created automatically before the previous appointment in the series has ended. If a booking is made inside the chosen time, for example a series that starts tomorrow, its link is sent straight away.
This also applies to the first appointment in a series, so with the 24-hour option its link is sent the day before. Bookings that don't repeat are not affected and still get their link as soon as they are made.
