Bookingly helps you take bookings online, manage your calendar and look after your customers from one place. This page is a quick tour of the main areas, followed by the first things to set up.
The main menu
The main menu runs across the top of the screen (or sits behind the menu button on a phone).
Menu item | What it is for |
|---|---|
Calendar | Your day and week at a glance. Add, move and cancel bookings. If you run a sports or facilities business this shows your courts or spaces instead and is named after them. |
Marketing | Emails and offers that bring customers back. Only shown when marketing is turned on for your account and you have permission to use it. |
Messages | Every email and text message Bookingly has sent to your customers. |
Customers | Your customer list, with contact details, notes, booking history and forms. |
Sales | Check out bookings and products and see what you have sold. |
More | All of your settings, grouped as Setup, Staff, Customers, Integrations and Account. |
Not seeing something? What you can see depends on your permissions. Ask the business owner to check your role under More > Staff > Permissions.
Your first steps
- Check your business details. Open More > Setup > Business details and make sure your name and contact details are right.
- Add your locations and opening hours. Open More > Setup > Locations. Customers can only book inside your opening hours.
- Add what you sell. Services businesses add Services (and Resources such as rooms or equipment). Sports and facilities businesses add their courts or spaces under Facilities.
- Add your team. Open More > Staff > Staff members, then set each person's working hours.
- Turn on your booking page. Follow Setting Up Your Booking Page.
Searching the settings
Can't remember where a setting lives? Use the search box at the top of the More menu. It matches page names and common words, so typing "gst" finds Taxes and "password" finds Login info.
