Setting Up Locations

Last updated 2 November 2026

A location is a place customers book at. Most businesses have one, but you can add as many as you like. Each location has its own address, time zone, opening hours, services and staff. Customers choose a location on your booking page when you have more than one.

Add a location

  1. Open More > Setup > Locations.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Fill in each section below and select Save.

You need permission to manage locations. Without it you can look at locations but not change them.

Basic information

  • Type (services businesses): choose In-Person (Physical) for a place customers visit, or Remote (Virtual) for appointments delivered by online meeting or video conference. Virtual locations can have a meeting link sent automatically. See Send Video Meeting Links with Google Meet.
  • Name: how the location appears to you and to customers, for example "Newtown Studio".
  • Phone: the number customers can ring.
  • Enabled: switch off to stop customers booking or choosing the location while keeping its bookings and settings. Your only enabled location can't be disabled, so add or enable another one first.
  • Timezone: the time zone the location runs in. Times on your booking page and calendar follow it.

Address (physical locations)

Under Where is your business located?, search for your address and pick it from the list, or choose to enter it manually. A map shows the result. The country matters because it is used for public holidays. See Close Your Business on Specific Dates.

Add Special instructions if customers need help finding you, for example "Second floor, Suite 4. Buzz reception on arrival."

Opening hours

Switch on each day you are open and set the From and To times. Customers can only book between these times. See Set Your Location's Opening Hours.

Services and staff

Choose which Services are available at the location and which Staff work there. A service only appears at a location it is linked to, and a staff member only appears under locations they work at. Staff also need their own working hours for each location. See Set a Staff Member's Working Hours.

Tax defaults

Set the default tax rates that new products and services start with at this location.

Integrations

Meeting integrations such as Google Meet can be switched on for a virtual location, with the meeting created as soon as the booking is made (or closer to the appointment for recurring bookings) and optional reminders before the appointment. Connect the provider first under More > Integrations.

Delete a location

Open the location and use Delete from its options. You are asked to confirm. Check first that no upcoming bookings depend on it.

Sports and facilities

Sports and facilities businesses use the same page, without the type choice. Instead you also see the courts or spaces at the location, optional Pricing per hour, and Blocked time. See Block Time in Your Calendar.
