Add or Edit a Booking

Last updated 2 November 2026

Customers book themselves on your booking page, but you can also add bookings for people who ring, message or walk in, and edit any booking afterwards.

Add a booking

  1. Open the Calendar.
  2. Start a new booking. The booking panel slides open.
  3. Under Customer, pick an existing customer or add a new one.
  4. Under Date & time, check the date and start time.
  5. Under Services, choose the Service, the Staff member and the Start time. Add more than one service if the customer is booking several.
  6. Add any Booking notes, then save.

Edit a booking

Select a booking on the calendar and the same panel opens with Edit booking at the top. It has these tabs:

  • Info: the customer, location, date and time, status and services.
  • Notes: special requests or comments about the booking. A small marker shows when a booking has notes.
  • Forms: shown when the booking has forms for the customer to fill in. A marker shows how many are not completed yet. See Collect answers with forms.

To change the customer, use Change next to the customer. To change a service, select Edit service.

Online meetings

If the booking is at an online location, the Online meeting section shows the meeting link with a Copy button, and confirms it has been sent to the customer and when they will be reminded. If the link couldn't be created automatically, it offers a button to create it now. A recurring booking says when its link will be created, and has its own link for each appointment. The section is hidden once the appointment has finished. See Send Video Meeting Links with Google Meet.

Take payment

When the customer has been seen, select Checkout in the booking panel to take payment and complete the booking.

Recurring bookings

If a booking is part of a recurring series, saving a change asks whether it applies to This booking only or This and all following bookings.
